I don’t have a whole lot to say today…

We had our office THANKSGIVING LUNCH today! It was awesome. I took Jude! 🙂  And Broccoli Casserole! Jude had a hard day. LOL! The chairs were the fold up ones and he was too light for it.. He fell through with a full cup of tea.. Poor thing.. Then fell two more times.. He derfinitely got my “grace”…. LOL! The food was delicious! We had a good time!

There is a song that I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!!  It’s by Matthew West, called FORGIVENESS….  This subject can be a sore spot with me. It’s so easy to want to hold on to your hurts, regrets, and all the crap other people have done to you.  But really, by not forgiving, you aren’t hurting the other people.  You’re hurting yourself. It will eat you up like a cancer! Trust me.. I KNOW! This song is just awesome… I’m going to post the lyrics, then the video… 🙂  Listen to it!

 The Words in Bold is how I feel most of the time.  I concentrate on what others have done TO ME that has hurt me, then decided they just don’t deserve to  be forgiven… In reality, I am just as bad…. I am a sinner. But Christ has forgiven me. Who am I to decide THEY are unworthy of forgiveness?  It’s a conscious decision. One I have to make every day… One I DON’T always make EVERY DAY.  I forgive, take it back. Forgive, take it back.  What would we do if Jesus forgave us, then decided to take it back when we hurt Him? EEEEEEK! I definitely don’t want to think about that!  The Bible ACTUALLY says we MUST forgive those who have hurt us, or he won’t forgive us… Ummmm, HELLO!!!!! That’s a scary thought!  Just for reference it’s Matthew 6:15 
But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

So.. No matter how badly someone has hurt you.. No matter how hurt you are inside AND out… It’s not too much that you can’t forgive. Because you can.  But you can’t do it on your own. You have to ask Jesus to help you. DAILY. That’s what I am going to do. Anytime anything happens.. Anything Satan tries to remind you of it, rebuke him, and forgive.. Rebuke, forgive.. A trillion times if you have to. The good thing is, it keeps you in prayer.. Which is what We’re supposed to do anyways. 🙂
